Police appeal after hit and run on Second Avenue in Harlow

OFFICERS investigating a serious collision in Harlow are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage.

A spokesperson said “We attended a collision on Second Ave, near to the junction with the A414, Harlow, involving a car and a motorbike at around 5pm on Wednesday 13 May.

It was reported that a car, believed to be a silver BMW, attempted a U-turn and struck a motorbike, causing the rider to fall off.

The driver of the car left the scene prior to police arrival.

The rider was taken to hospital, where he remains.

The driver of the BMW fleeing the scene is so cowardly. Hang your head in shame.

Most likely had no insurance and also no licence. There`s a lot of it about . Let`s hope he is caught before he hurts others.
