Another fire off Third Avenue in Harlow

THERE has been another arson attack near Third Avenue in Harlow.

An Essex Fire spokesperson said:

“We were called to a fire in Third Avenue, Harlow on Friday at 11.37pm

Four crews attended and found a fire in a wooded area that was affecting a shed and greenhouse.

They extinguished the fire and left the scene at 12.48am.

“The cause has been recorded as deliberate”.

Earlier this month, there was a fire near to this location (see below).

This is deeply concerning and unfortunately seemingly part of a pattern. Deliberate fire setting isn't just dangerous it's a crying shame that our green town should be set to the torch - I hope the people contemplating and committing these arsons stop immediately before someone is harmed. Me and a few other people will be keeping an eye on the land from now on. For the next few weeks people will be on standby 24/7 on the land and police will be on the land too.. So parents if your kids are going out and they are not telling you where I suggest you keep them away or else. I will not stand for my OLD house to be destroyed and vandalised like this. Children will be arrested if they are caught on the land

Just seen another fire up around the same area. I live in woodcroft I hope the people who have set this fire gets caught. Police are aware
