THE St Mark’s Year 11 boys’ football team have made history by completing an incredible treble-winning season. The team remained unbeaten across all league and cup competitions this year, winning every game except for one draw.
This team of Invincibles were crowned champions of the Harlow Cup, West Essex Cup, and Essex Cup, an outstanding achievement and the first team in St Mark’s history to accomplish this feat.

An incredible 88 schools from across Essex entered the cup competition this year, making St Mark’s achievement even more remarkable. Along the way, the team faced some excellent opposition, including Ongar Academy, Roding Valley High School — the team who defeated them in last year’s Essex Cup Final — as well as Beaulieu Park School, Forest School, and All Saints.
The final exemplified the team spirit where, despite going 2-0 down after seven minutes, the team fought back to secure a convincing 6-3 win.

The boys showed tremendous heart, determination, and togetherness throughout the competition. Their performances and team ethic will live long in the memory.
Great job, well done St Marks
