YOUNG singers from across Harlow are preparing to take to the stage for the much-anticipated Harlow Schools Music Festival, taking place this year at Stewards School on 24th June.

The festival will bring together choirs from 11 Harlow primary schools, who have been rehearsing enthusiastically at their own schools since January. Months of dedication and hard work will culminate in a celebration of music, teamwork, and community spirit.

Earlier this year, the choirs gathered together for a full rehearsal in April, giving staff the first opportunity to hear all of the songs performed collectively. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with staff praising the children’s commitment, confidence, and musicality.

“There were moments during the rehearsal that genuinely gave us goose bumps,” said organisers.

“Hearing hundreds of young voices singing together was incredibly moving, and it was clear just how much effort the children and staff have put into preparing for this event.”

The Music Festival promises an uplifting evening of entertainment featuring a varied programme of songs performed by talented young singers from across the town. The event also highlights the strong partnership between Harlow schools and their shared commitment to providing enriching creative opportunities for pupils.

Families, staff, and members of the local community are looking forward to what promises to be a memorable celebration of music and collaboration.

The Harlow Schools Music Festival will take place at Stewards School on Tuesday 24th June.
