Man fined over £5,000 for house of multiple occupation breach in Berecroft

A MAN has been fined over £5,000 for failing to register a Harlow house as a place of multiple occupation.
Lee Hahn, Newgatestreet Road, Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire was found guilty of the following.
Between 20/05/2017 and 02/08/2017 at 294 Berecroft, Harlow, being a licence holder, failed to comply with a condition of that licence in that you failed to licence the property as a House in multiple occupation .
Contrary to section 72(3) and (7) of the Housing Act 2004.
Hahn pled guilty.
He was fined £5,938.58.
The prosecution was brought to the court by Harlow District Council.
