HARLOW has been at the forefront of innovation and creativity since its inception and is now a centre of art, design and creativity. Harlow Makers Market aims to provide a unique, diverse market celebrating and promoting the ‘makers’ industry.
Harlow Makers Market is about bringing together artists, designers, crafters, entertainers, producers, cooks and bakers to provide a platform to promote and sell products that have been made or the ‘ingredients’ that will enable people to become makers.
It is hoped that the Market will become the flagship event for the newly refurbished Market Square in Harlow Town Centre and, as well as being a traditional market selling products will also include entertainment and demonstrations creating a more engaged and celebratory atmosphere.
Harlow Makers Market Expression of Interest (Online)
They are looking at holding the first Harlow Makers Market on Saturday 17th November 2018 between 11am – 4pm and are looking for expressions of interest from various ‘makers’ who would like to be part of the inaugural Harlow Makers Market.
For the first event we will be asking makers to pay an upfront fee of £40, of which £30 of the fee will be refunded on the day of the market for makers who have a stall. All makers will be required to hold adequate public liability insurance and risk assessments.
Expressions of interest must be accompanied by at least five images of your proposed products and if possible examples of previous markets/exhibitions.
