The M11 southbound has now been closed between junction 8 for Stansted and 7 for Harlow for at least eight hours.

Investigations are taking place into a serious crash there last night between a lorry and two cars.

We’re told it’s likely to stay shut through the morning.

Essex Police UK has been conducting investigations throughout the night.
