HARLOW Town fell to their first defeat of the season by a single goal way at Hanwell Town.

A single goal by Gareth Chendlik in the 23rd minute secured all three points for the North London side.

The result, after two games, leaves Harlow Town in ninth place, just three points off the lead.

Harlow Town return to league action on Saturday at home in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup against Brentwood Town.
