Trial date set for Church Langley man accused of sex offences

A TRIAL date has been set for a man accused of a number of sex offences involving children.
Terence Clarke, aged 73, of Burley Hill, Church Langley, Harlow appeared at Chelmsford magistrates court on January 22nd in connection with the following charges.
Between 10/09/2017 and 02/11/2017 at Harlow, being a person aged 18 or over, for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, intentionally attempted to communicate with a child aged 12, a person under 16 who you did not reasonably believe to be 16 or over, the communication being sexual.
Between 02/06/2012 and 10/01/2018 at Harlow made an indecent photograph of a child, namely 5 Category A images.
Between 02/06/2012 and 10/01/2018 at Harlow made an indecent photograph of a child, namely 7 Category B images.
Between 02/06/2012 and 10/01/2018 at Harlow at Harlow made an indecent photograph of a child, namely 15 Category C images.
Clarke has been given a trial date of February 19th at Chelmsford Crown Court.
