Man given six months jail sentence for possessing knife in Harlow Market Square

A MAN has been jailed for possessing a kitchen knife in Harlow Town Centre.

Christopher Smith, aged 27, of No Fixed Abode pleaded guilty to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.
On August 26th at Harlow had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place, the Market Square in Harlow, an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely large kitchen knife.
Smith was jailed for six months and fined £128.00
