Update: Friday Oct 9th

The Crown public house has now re-opened.

The management has told YH that all staff have tested negative for coronavirus.

===================

A HARLOW pub has closed temporarily after a member of staff has contracted Covid-19.

The Crown on Market Street in Old Harlow shut earlier this week.

YH has spoken to the owners who have confirmed that “because of their close contact, staff are having to self isolate.

“They have reported the matter to Public Health England (PHE) and gone through the relevant track and trace procedure”.

Management have confirmed that they will re-open when “they are sure that everyone is tested, isolated and the pub is given a good deep clean.”

They have also placed a sign on the pub window explaining to possible passing trade that they are closed.

OMG thoughts go out to everyone at the Crown. Especially Hayley and George, it is bad enough with the closing restrictions. Good luck

I think your find it’s all staff and owners that are tested positive, and some family members too... oh dear . This isn’t the time to be dishonest.
