THE leader of Harlow Labour has committed to work hard to see Harlow Town Football Club has a future.
Councillor Chris Vince said: ” I am desperately sad to hear that Harlow Town, Harlow Ladies and their reserve team are withdrawing from their respective leagues following on going issues with their pitch.
“I have emailed the chair in my role as local councillor to offer any support I can give. As a supporter of the club over a number of years and former season ticket holder I have enjoyed going to the matches and want to thank all those fellow supporters who have made me feel welcome and whom I now consider good friends.
“I hope we are able to work together to ensure that Harlow Town is able to play competitive football next season.
“My heart goes out to the fans, volunteers and staff who now face an uncertain future”.
I'll provide Mr Vince with a fork and shovel to help sort out the pitch
More self publicity by Mr Vince. All support short of help!
Chris Vince, great guy who frequents match day at the Harlow Arena. Simple as that. Great to see former councillors known to Your Harlow. I’d like a mention for Steve Dobson aka Dobbo aka Pieman who was a long time supporter of Harlow Town as well as being a big part of the Spurs family and recently who passed away. He is dearly missed.
