STAFF at Stuart James Hair in Harlow raised over £5,000 with a Brave the Shave event on behalf of St Clare Hospice.

The town centre staff as well as family and friends gathered for the event at the Market Square based shop.

The total amount raised was an amazing £5095.45.

A spokesperson said: “We cannot express enough how much we appreciate every one of your donations as well as all who came to support us.

“Congratulations to Sarah, Stuart, Tina and Lana for literally braving the shave!”

This will be vital boost for the Hastingwood-based Hospice whose running costs average around £8,000 a day.
