LEADING kids’ arts and crafts company, Baker Ross, has partnered with Harlow Council to donate six new litter bins and two picnic benches to Harlow Pets Corner. This popular local attraction, which draws 100,000 visitors annually, will benefit from these much-needed updates.

In addition to these new features and to celebrate 50 years in business and their ongoing commitment to community support, Baker Ross handed out over 100 free arts and crafts goody bags at Pets’ Corner on Saturday 29th June.
Councillor Dan Swords, Leader of Harlow Council said the council is thrilled to be working with Baker Ross this summer.
Cllr Swords said: “It’s been wonderful for our staff to work with Baker Ross to provide some fun new additions to improve both Pets Corner and the Town Park. The Pet’s Corner team had purchased crafts from them in the past to deliver educational activities, so they were very happy when they reached out to give Pets’ Corner a little makeover in celebration of the company’s 50th Anniversary. Visitors to Pets’ Corner and the Town Park will benefit from these donations for many years to come. Thank you, Baker Ross.”
Nice bins!! – While we are talking bins, one of the suite of bins you have placed along the North Side of First Avenue has been burnt out. It’s close to the ‘soon to be enhanced’ Harlow Museum. Best replace it before you plans to restore pride in our town are dented by some opportunist firebug seeing how flammable these things are.
Nice gesture, unfortunately a lot of harlow people dont no how to use bins.
