Company at heart of Harlow Innovation Park appoints liquidators

THE LONDON Gazette has reported that a company based in the heart of the Harlow Innovation Park has had liquidators appointed.
Smartkas, a Dutch agriculture and food technology enterprise that designs, builds, owns and operates smart farms moved in to the park off London Road in 2022.

The notice was published on July 1st, 2024
YH understands that Harlow Council has a number of businesses interested in moving in.
Terrible news, though not surprising looking at the accounts on companies house looks like they had debts and parent company decided not to bail them out. How many jobs have been lost by this closure?
hopefully David Lloyd will get permission to build their leisure centre on the same site to promote and put more jobs in the area
