SEVEN gymnasts from Harlow Gymnastics club qualified to represent Essex County at the General Gymnastics East Region individual apparatus final in Ipswich, competing against top gymnasts from Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Norfolk and Essex.

In the first day of the Regional competition, Valerie Drobo-Ampem achieved the second highest score on floor, while teammate Erin Vaughan recorded the 3rd highest score on bars, competing against over 30 gymnasts from East Region, in the level 2 age 8 event.

Dulcie Kemp competed on vault, beam and floor, with Sophia Hutchings competing on beam, both in the in the Regional level 5 age 10-11 event. Lucy Brough competed on beam and bars in the Regional level 5 age 14-15 event, and Milli Battelley competed on bars in the Regional level 5 age 12-13 event. Unfortunately East Region Gymnastics have not made the scores available.

Completing in the remaining Essex County GG levels competitions in Colchester, in the level 3 age 9 event Ella Goodey earned the bronze medal on vault and qualified to represent Essex in the regional event. Teammate Jessica Degiorgio-Miller collected the 6th place rosette on beam also in the level 3 age 9 event . Darcy Skillen and Mia Shraka passed their level 3 in the age 10-11 event competing against over 50 gymnasts from across Essex.

Representing Essex in the final regional GG competition, Ella Goodey placed 4th on vault in the level 3 age 9 event.

All competing gymnasts were a credit to their club and county.
