Police launch investigation after man stabbed near Tesco in Church Langley

Update: Statement from Essex Police
Officers were called to the car park of Tesco in Church Langley at around 7:20pm on Monday, 5 August following reports of a man being seriously assaulted.
The victim sustained a stab wound to his upper leg and was taken to hospital.
Enquiries remain ongoing and no arrests have been made at this stage.

THE EMERGENCY services are in attendance at Tesco in Church Langley.
They attended at just after 1930 hrs (approx).
A male was being attended to on Minton Lane which runs adjacent to the store.

@Jon we’ve been here 15 years and this is the first time I’ve seen anything like this in Church Langley. It’s a very nice place to live and this is very very rare. Do we know what happened?

@susan , there were 16 reported sexual and violent offences, 13 thefts, 5 ASb’s amongst others all reported during May this year ! Church Langley isn’t the little rose garden you seem to think it is .

I think people need to be making sure they know what happened before they assume drugs were involved, this is not the case and someone has been badly hurt.
