DURING THE summer, Southampton signed defender Ronnie Edwards from Peterborough United for a reported £3m on a four-year deal reports the BBC.

The 21-year-old played 45 times in League One last season, helping Peterborough win the EFL Trophy against Bristol City at Wembley and reach the play-offs.

Ronnie is a former Passmores Academy student.

Edwards captained England Under-20s and will play his first season in the Premier League after also featuring in the Championship for Peterborough.
