Obituary: Paul Anthony Wade
Obituaries / Thu 19th Jun 2025 at 07:10am
THE family of Paul Anthony Wade are sad to announce the passing of Paul on 29th April 2025, aged 73 years at Five Acres, Harlow.
He leaves behind two children, Ben & Kherrin, and one granddaughter Sienna as well as his older brother John and nieces Sharon and Clare.

Paul and John were “early settlers” of New Harlow with their parents ‘Alf and Rene’ in 1952. A ceremony which was captured then on celluloid and has since featured in a few local Mayday exhibitions over the years.
Paul led an adventurous life, with an appetite for travelling and living off the grid. He was a very talented industrial chemist and had a keen interest in aviation.
He raised his young family in Devon but returned to Harlow in the late 90s where he cared for his mother until her passing.
In his later years he chose to live a more solitary life in the local area. The family would like to thank those neighbours, healthcare and social care workers who supported and looked after him as his physical and mental health deteriorated.
Paul will be greatly missed but he will always be in our hearts and in our souls.
In keeping with Paul’s wishes, no service will be held.
Memorial donations in Paul’s name may be made to Dementia UK or Mind UK.
If Paul was from the Wade family in Orchard Croft. I remember him and his brother John well. Paul, I remember was a gifted pupil at Mark hall. RIP
Paul Joyce, yes you’ve got the right Paul. He did live with his brother and parents at Orchard Croft. Thanks for sharing your memory x
I was at Mark Hall with Paul. I remember particularly our time in the sixth form when we were in the same chemistry and physics classes. There were lots of laughs but it was also clear that he had a bright future ahead of him. I’m very sorry to read that he’s passed away. U send my condolences to his family.
