A NEW Volleyball team in Harlow have won promotion in their very first year.

The Harlow Bravos formed in 2024 with the aim of enjoying the sport but also being competitive.

They did more than that, winning Division 3 of the Hertfordshire Volleyball Association League.

Coach and founder, Chusdey Bravo said: “We have had a great first year. We have stressed how much fun is a priority but that doesn’t mean we can’t be competitive.

At Harlow Bravo’s Volleyball Club, our mission is to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and inclusivity across all ages, while developing and advancing the sport of volleyball.

“We are really looking forward to next season and new members.”
