MATCHING Green Cricket Club ran Thorley ragged in the semi finals of the Broadmans Davies cup! 

Matching Green were asked to bat, and started with an aggressive opening stand of 61.

Riz continued to punish Thorley bowling attack and scored 77 from 42 balls. 

Matching Green set a target of 190 in their 20 overs!

Thorley struggled to cope with Matching Green bowling attack.  

Simon Hartnell ripped through Thorley’s top order with a magnificent five wicket haul ended with a match winning figures of 5 wickets for 25.

Thorley was eventually all out for 84 runs.

Matching Green Cricket Club are buzzing this season with a league cup trophy in the cabinet last week.

After their win against Thorley Cricket Club Matching Green Cricket Club will play Takeley in the Broadmans Davies Cup finals at Bishop Stortford Cricket Club.
