Charge dropped against man arrested for public order offence outside Bell Hotel in Epping

A HARLOW man who was charged with a public order offence outside the Bell Hotel in Epping has seen his case discontinued.
Dean Walters, aged 64, of Corner Meadow, Harlow was charged with the following public order offence in July.
On July 13th, 2025, at Epping, used towards unknown persons threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause that person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against him by any person, or to provoke the immediate use of unlawful violence by him whereby those persons were likely to believe that such violence would be used, or it was likely that such violence would be provoked.
But when the case came before the courts at Chelmsford on Monday September 22nd, the decision as made to discontinue the case.
Well, that's okay then.
