POLICE were called to a Harlow Town Football match after the game was abandoned in injury time.
The Hawks were 4-2 up against Kempston Rovers in the Spartan South Midland League Premier Division fixture held at the Harlow Arena off Elizabeth Way on Saturday afternoon.
Harlow had come back from being 2-0 down. The abandonment happened well into injury time at the end of the game.
During the game, Kempston defender Linus Kusi was sent off in the 37th minute. In the 62nd minute, their manager, Leon Cashman was also sent off.

In injury time, the Kempston Rovers team walked off. Soon after the police attended.
Photos sent to YH show officers on the pitch speaking to players and officials.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a disturbance and we did attend and speak to people present.
“No arrests made”.
Essex Police indicated that there would be no ongoing investigation.
Harlow Town stated on their Facebook page: “We cannot comment on the situation, all players have left the field.
“The game has not been abandoned, the Kempston players have walked off”.
YH asked Harlow Town for a statement but they have declined to comment at this time.
Kempston Rovers have put the following statement on their X account.
This morning, the manager of Kempston Rovers put the following statement on X.
I hope Harlow are awarded the 3 points and Kempston deducted -10 for this unsporting behaviour
"Essex Police indicated that there would be no ongoing investigation." Par for the course, except when trying to stitch people up for cat theft.
Deducting -10 is the same as adding 10. If fans can't behave them selves, it should be down to the team they are supporting. Perhaps Harlow should have walked off?
