IT has been a particularly busy time for Harlow MP Chris Vince.

Even this weekend, we spotted him at the Hindu celebrations, the Black Multi-Cultural Festival, the open day at the Islamic Centre, to name just a few.

He has also held a number of surgeries both in Harlow and the villages.

Plus an appearance on Politics East on Sunday to discuss rail nationalisation.

YH’s editor, speaks to fellow editors around the country and they note that not all MPs are as ubiquitous or public facing as Mr Vince.

We interviewed Chris as he had just stepped off the train from the Labour Party conference. We asked him to reflect on conference as well as a number of other issues including crime.
