GREATER Anglia staff and customers in West Anglia are being invited to support a special Easter Egg appeal, helping to bring a smile to children and families receiving care in local hospitals.
Customers travelling through Stansted Mountfitchet, Bishop’s Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Harlow Mill and Harlow town stations can donate Easter-themed treats and gifts, including unopened Easter eggs, chocolate treats and suitable children’s activities.

The collection will run from Monday 26 January to Sunday 22 March 2026, with all donations being delivered to Enders Touch Foundation and the children’s ward at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow.
The appeal has been running since 2020 and was established by Greater Anglia colleague Michael King, a Relief Ticket Office Clerk based at Sawbridgeworth and Stansted Mountfitchet stations.
Last year alone, the generosity of customers and staff resulted in almost 700 Easter treats being donated to children and families in the local community.
Michael King, event organiser and Relief Ticket Office Clerk at Sawbridgeworth and Stansted Mountfitchet stations, said:
“This appeal makes such a difference, and I would like to say a huge thank you in advance to everyone who is able to donate.
“All the gifts go directly to Enders Touch Foundation and the children’s ward at Princess Alexandra Hospital, helping to bring some comfort and joy to children and their families at what can be a very difficult time, particularly around Easter.”
Greater Anglia is encouraging anyone travelling on the West Anglia route during the collection period to consider donating, with every contribution, no matter how small, helping to brighten Easter for local children.
