WE went into the game confident of walking away with the trophy. However, after an extremely sloppy first 30 minutes, Langley took the lead.

We went into half-time 1-0 down with a big improvement needed in the second half.

The gaffer made some changes that would go on to be the perfect substitutes.

With around 30 minutes to go we won a penalty after a handball in the box from the Langley defender, which was calmly dispatched by our captain Billy Mitchell, sending the keeper the wrong way.

After getting that first goal we found our rhythm with Billy Mitchell bagging another goal, this time a header to put us 2-1 up.

With not long to go, Alex Cobb then finished the game off, putting us two goals to the good, the game was put to bed.

Poplar then went on to see the game out calmly. What a day!!!!
