THERE was an air of exasperation from the Harlow Conservatives as they asked the ruling Labour group for an update on a number of Harlow developments.
Conservative leader, cllr Andrew Johnson asked the portfolio holder for regeneration, cllr Tony Durcan to update them on the developments on Katherines and Slacksbury Hatch.
When Cllr Durcan initially responded that it was “Complicated but they would have an update in a few weeks.” the Harlow Tories looked perplexed.
Cllr Durcan added: “These matters are complicated but we are seeing progress. Take Elm Hatch and the Hummingbird. We had to buy the freehold and other related matters but it is moving forward.”
Cllr Russell Perrin (Cons) noted: “We just need to draw a line in the sand and let residents know about timescale and plans.”
Sometimes you just can't win, we want to bring the best option to develop the best plan for the 3 communities effected.like Clifton hatch isn't it better to take the time to get it right first time than rush and risk getting it wrong.resident deserve the best not a quick fix.we don't want over sized plant pots but real regeneration, something to inspire not expire.
The plant pots you voted for Tony???
