BALLET classes have opened in Sawbridgeworth and Bishops Stortford: Ballet for the retired.

They have now been running for eight weeks and are increasing in numbers each week. They will be opening a class in Harlow on April 26th at the Womens Inditute Hall 1.30pm -2.30pm.

Ballet for the retired is great for poise, posture, flexibility and studies have shown that this regular gentle exercise is great in keeping the elderly mobile. There are claims that regular exercise in this manner can ward off dementia.

The ladies that come to the class are all noticing that they are able to move more freely and the companionship of the group has given them a new lease of life.

They always finish their session with tea, coffee and biscuits. This is not just about the exercise.
