ESSEX Police are appealing for information to identify the suspect of a theft which happened in Halling Hill, Harlow, on May 11.

A man was allowed entry in to the home of an elderly woman at around 6.45pm and when in the address stole a small amount of cash from her purse and took her handbag.

The man is described as white, aged 26 or 27 years old, of slim build, with mousey brown hair and wore a long sleeved top and jeans.
