VETERAN Labour councillor has been selected as the new chair of Harlow Council.

Cllr Stevens is the councillor for Netteswell.

Old Harlow councillor, Sue Livings was appointed as deputy chair.

Outgoing chair, councillor Tony Hall made a warm speech as he stood down from his term as chair.
