Harlow politicians pay tribute to murdered MP Jo Cox

HARLOW politicians have paid tribute to Jo Cox, Labour MP for Birstall in Yorkshire after she was shot dead in her constituency on Thursday afternoon.
The leader of Harlow Council, cll Jon Clempner said: “Shocked and incredibly saddened to hear Labour MP Jo Cox has died following being shot outside her constituency surgery. Thoughts with her husband, children, family and friends.
Labour councillor, Tony Durcan has called for a service on Saturday afternoon in Harlow, at a time when the politicians.
Leader of the Harlow Conservatives, cll Andrew Johnson left the simple message”RIP Jo Cox” and has then contacted cllr Durcan regarding a service.
Deputy leader of Harlow Labour, cllr Emma Toal has said: “RIP Jo Cox. I am in shock. No words.”
Harlow MP, Robert Halfon was working at the Tooting By-Election and has also expressed his shock.
