Update on unauthorised traveller encampments in Harlow

THE latest information on unauthorised encampments in Harlow is as follows:
An encampment had set up in the Milwards area, land owned by Harlow Council, yesterday (Tuesday 7 October 2014). Harlow Council served them with a direction to leave the land by 4pm yesterday and they have done so.
Third Avenue/Three Horseshoes Road (land owned by Harlow Council):
There are 10 caravans on this land. Harlow Council has obtained a county court hearing set for Monday 13 October 2014.
Woodhill/Southern Way (land owned by Harlow Council):
There are nine caravans on this land. Harlow Council has obtained a county court hearing set for Monday 13 October 2014.
Field north of Kingsland/Abercrombie Way (land owned by Harlow Council):
There are now three caravans on this land. Harlow Council has obtained a county court hearing set for Monday 13 October 2014.
Helipad (land owned by Harlow Council):
There is now one caravan on this land. Harlow Council has issued court proceedings and is awaiting a hearing date.
Pear Tree Mead/Southern Way (land owned by Harlow Council):
There are 10 caravans on this land. Harlow Council has issued court proceedings and is awaiting a hearing date.
Greenway Business Park (privately owned land):
There are five caravans on this privately owned land.
