THERE HAS been a report of a firearm incident in Staple Tye area of Harlow.

Essex Police were called to the area just outside the off-licence on the precinct at approx 8pm after it was allegedly reported that a young male had pulled a “firearm” out on another male.

The incident was reportedly seen by staff from the off-licence who were outside on a cigarette break.

A number of police vehicles remain in the area and the police helicopter has been flying over the area,

Police vehicles have searched the Longbanks and Brockles Mead area.
