From Wiltshire to Skegness: Close to a hundred at second running of Harlow Park Run

Athletics / Sun 16th Nov 2014 pm30 03:34pm

DESPITE it being a cold and misty morning, just under a hundred runners took part in the second running of the Harlow Park Run.

And once again, it was superbly organised as the runners weaved their away around Harlow Town Park.

In case you are interested the course runs from the bridge in the middle of the park and heads towards the cycle track in the Tanys Dell direction before heading back into the park and the challenge of ‘Pitch and Putt Hill”.

This weeks winner was Lucas Longman of Heaton Harriers in 17.51 secs.

Special mention to Liam Waldron who (in the 11-14 category) came 14th in 24.18.

And well done to the runner who completed the three mile run whilst pushing his young child!
