HAC’s juniors competed at the 2nd Essex League XC match this season at a very muddy Hylands Park at Chelmsford on Sat 15th Nov. The strength and depth of competition in the Essex League junior races is exceptional and the standard was very high across the age groups. There were 24 athletes competing across all the age groups for HAC, with a special pre-league U11 race over 1mile being well supported by HAC’s future stars.

Our results from the main league event were as follows;

U17 Men 6K – 28th Donald Campbell 23.21.

U15 Boys 4K – 14th Lewis Harknett 12.16, 20th Christian Barker 12.32.

U13 Boys 3K – A super fast race with tough competition with 10th Kai Boggon 10.28, 11th Ben Sloan 10.32, 26th Sam Sloan 11.06, 30th Joe Morgan 11.12, 51st Connor Harrington 11.58, 60th Peter McRae 12.19. The boys were 4th in the team competition.

U15 Girls 4K – 7th Lottie Rowedder 13.20, 41st Eilidh Malcolm 16.01.
