Police issue eviction notice on illegal camp in The Greyhound car park

ESSEX police have issued a Sec 61 eviction notice on an illegal camp in the town park.

Over twenty vehicles settled on the Greyhound car park this morning.

The police arrived at just after 2pm today (Friday) and issued the notice.

Town Park Greyhound Car Park (land owned by Harlow Council):

Seven parking tickets for various parking offences have been issued by the North Essex Parking Partnership parking wardens to vehicles as part of the encampment at the Town Park Greyhound Car Park. Please see attached images.

Car park next to former Burger King building, Edinburgh Way (privately-owned land):

Harlow Council has been advised that there is an unauthorised encampment on this land of four caravans. These caravans are from the previous encampment from the car park and cycle track at Passmores House. Private bailiffs have attended today and given the travellers 24 hours to move.
