THE SHADOW health secretary, Andy Burnham MP visited Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) on Wednesday afternoon.

Speaking to Your Harlow, Mr Burnham told us that he was informed by front line staff at PAH that “This was the busiest time they had ever known.

We asked the shadow minister a series of questions about the health service as well as asking him whether he would encourage people to try their best to not use A and E departments if it could be avoided.

Mr Burnham was a guest of honour at the Harlow Labour Party Christmas dinner at the Garden of India in Bush Fair.
