Cyclist in hospital after collapsing in North Gate, Harlow

THE East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) was called to Kitson Way in Harlow at 1.05pm today (6th December) after a man collapsed. A community first responder, two ambulances, an ambulance officer and an air ambulance were dispatched.
The patient, believed to be in his 50s, was first treated by police officers who together with paramedics who arrived shortly after, successfully performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
The patient was stabilised before air ambulance doctors arrived to support with further care.
The patient was taken by land ambulance to Lister Hospital, and the outcome is unknown at this stage.
YH understands that the patient (as of Sun Dec 7th) remains in hospital.
