HOLY Cross primary academy has scored a perfect 100% in the SATS tables published today (Thursday).

It is another example of what the school has achieved and may be another indicator as to why so many parents want their children to go there.

Principal of Holy Cross Primary Academy, Sue McGuiggan said: “We are delighted with the achievements of our pupils.

We must pay tribute to the work of the students, staff and parents who combine to deliver this success.”

The results are a mixed bag for Harlow primary schools.

Our editorial policy is to focus on the positive first and then assess the, not so positive.

Among the notable results are:

Churchgate Street attaining 90% (72% in 2013)
Hare Street attaining 95% (75% in 2013)
Jerounds attaining 77% (43% in 2013)
St James’ attaining 78% (57 in 2013)

15 Harlow primary schools are below the national average of 79%
