Harlow Town 2 v 3 Heybridge Swifts
THERE has been a definite dip in the form of Harlow Town since early December and this was underlined as they suffered their first defeat in the league at home on Saturday against Heybridge Swifts.
Swifts are, like most teams in this league, mercurial but they always looked like they had a performance like this in their locker.
So it proved as Heybridge, twice came from behind to beat Harlow.
Harlow opened the scoring in the sixth minute through Junior Dadson. But Swifts worked hard in cold conditions and Billy Hunt’s sixteenth minute equaliser was no more than they deserved.
Hawks went ahead again in the second half when Layne Eadie knocked in from close range.
But it was new signing from Tilbury, Jack West who equalised again in the 58th minute.
The winner was scored by Reece Morgan in the 74th minute.
There were no more goal but plenty of action as Swifts missed a penalty and had a player sent off.
Despite this, Harlow are still top of the table.
The next game for Harlow is away to Sudbury on Saturday 7th February. It is a 3pm kick off.
