Harlow man charged after robbery at Co-op in Maunds Hatch

ESSEX Police have charged a man following an investigation into a robbery at the Co-op Store in Maunds Hatch, Harlow, on Friday October 30.
Paul Rider, aged 54, of Copshall Close, in Harlow was arrested shortly after midnight on Saturday October 31. He was questioned at Harlow Police Station before being charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Monday November 2. If there are any witnesses to the robbery that have not yet spoken to police they are asked to call DC Leo Fordham on 101 at Harlow CID.
