North Weald Market has been cancelled tomorrow, Saturday 21 November 2015, due to the adverse weather conditions being forecast by the Met Office.

The market has been called off as the anticipated very strong winds could cause safety issues for the market traders and customers. North Weald Market takes place every Saturday at the Epping Forest District Council-owned North Weald Airfield.

Safety must come first

Airfield manager Darren Goodey said: “I don’t like taking such a decision but the safety of the market traders and customers must come first. I anticipate that next week’s market will go ahead as normal. We will be keeping a close eye on the weather.”
