Teenager robbed near Harlow Town Centre

DETECTIVES are investigating a robbery in which a man had his mobile phone and money stolen.
The 18-year-old victim North Weald was walking along Velizy Avenue, Harlow, sometime between 1pm and 2pm on Thursday April 14 when he was approached from behind by three men and a woman.
He was struck in the back of the head and fell to the ground. A black iPhone 6 and a three figure sum were stolen.
The group ran off, heading away from the direction of the town centre.
The victim suffered pain to his head and a cut lip and was taken to hospital to be checked over.
The three male suspects were described as black and believed to be wearing tracksuits. The woman had dark skin and is believed to have been wearing a Superdry coat. All were aged in their late 20s.
Investigating officer Pc Rachel Anderson, of Harlow CID, said: “This incident took place during the early afternoon in a busy street near Harlow College, so I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time who saw what happened, or the suspects after the robbery, to get in touch.”
