IT was a perfect Saturday morning for a run/jog/walk around Harlow Town Park in the Harlow parkrun.

A record 187 souls took part in the 5 kilometre course that winds its way around the park.

It was a lovely day, infant it was so lovely that organisers had a little bit of trouble with the scanner that registers times due to the glaring sun. And ho many times do you say that in Harlow in early May.

The great thing about the parkrun is its inclusivity and cheery welcome and that has to be a tribute to the hard working organisers who are there from first light.
