LAST Friday (13th May) MP Robert Halfon visited the Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Pre-School on Perry Street in Harlow.
Harlow MP Halfon said:
“It was a pleasure visiting the Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Pre-School and to see their newly refurbished facilities. I was especially pleased to see that many of the rooms have a little outdoor area for the children to use.
I met many of the children and spoke to the staff about the introduction of 30 hours of free childcare and the importance of providing children with good and solid learning from an early age.”
Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Pre-School, which was formally known as the Gateway Nursery, moved to the other side of Perry Road earlier this year and the nursery provides care and education for children aged five and under for five days a week, 51 weeks of the year from 7.30am – 6.30pm.
