ON Saturday 21st May, Harlow AC’s twins Lewis and Owen Harknett made the long journey to compete in the prestigious u17 2.5k road race held at the Etihad Stadium.

Lewis had a storming race and was just pipped to the post into 2nd place in a super fast time of 7.04 in a 4-way sprint finish for the line against the best of the norths young distance runners.

Owen, who has been plagued with injury of late, ran bravely for 12th place in 8.24.
