HARLOW Running Club members, father and son Jamie and Daniel Jephcott, took part in events at the Keswick Mountain Festival in Cumbria last weekend.
Daniel completed the Short Triathlon, consisting of a 400 metre open water swim, a 12 mile bike ride and a 5km run, finishing in 40th place out of 287 finishers in 1hr 14min 33sec.
Jamie completed the 25km Trail Run finishing in 68th place out of 407 finishers in 2hrs 40min 50sec.
Meanwhile Andy Kinney completed the Royal Windsor 10k River Trail run, starting and finishing at the foot of the largest living castle in the world, finishing in 120th place out of 330 finishers in 56min 05sec.
At the Upton Court parkrun 5K at Slough Jason Donovan finished in 3rd place out of 118 finishers in a personal best time for the distance (PB) of 19min 23sec.
At the Hatfield Forest parkrun 5K Alan Broughton finished in 7th place out of 191 finishers in 19min 41sec.
He was followed by Owen Haigh (11th in 20.05), Peter Mills (118th 28.30) and Joanne Mills (128th 29.41).
At the Harlow parkrun 5K Darren Tiley finished in 9th place out of 140 finishers in 21min 14sec.
He was followed home by Paul Dixon (29th in 23.55), Alan Cootes (58th in 28.37), Louise Cootes (59th in 28.37), Steve Crosby (96th in 34.19 PB) and Mark Bellworthy (117th bin 39.34).
At the Gunpowder parkrun 5K at Waltham Abbey Terry Ridge finished in 19th place out of 155 finishers in 21min 39sec.
He was followed by wife Catheridge (20th in 21.41), Martyn Coulter (21st in 21.52), John Bull (23rd in 22.09), Jamie Luck (25th in 22.25), Graham Saville (29th in 22.40), Spencer Brooks (34th in 22.55), Hossein Erfani (80th in 27.23 PB) and Austin Nyamande (82nd 27.32 PB).
At the Catton parkrun 5K at Norwich Will Wall finished in 22nd place out of 254 finishers in a superb 20min 24sec.
At the Panshanger parkrun 5K at Hertford Sean Flynn finished in 58th place out of 302 finishers in 23min 35sec.
At the Reading parkrun 5K Richard Smith finished in 94th place out of 343 finishers in 24min dead.
At the Maldon parkrun 5K Andy Kinney finished in 113th place out of 269 finishers in 26min 51 sec.
