TRIBUTES have been paid to a teenager who died following a road traffic collision involving a motorbike and a car.
Liam Brown, 18, of Harlow, suffered head injuries in the collision in The Stow on Wednesday May 25. He died in hospital on Sunday May 29.
His father Stephen Brown said: “Liam, known as Biggie, was born on July 6, 1997, the best day of my life.
“We were inseparable and got on like best friends. He knew when I was Dad and he knew when I was his friend.
“Our relationship was unique and there was very little Liam wouldn’t talk to me about. We trusted each other with every aspect of life.
“He was a superb cook and spoilt me with some of the best meals I ever ate.
“Liam had studied hard for the past three years and was only three months away from becoming a fully qualified Gas Safe engineer.
“He was going to be a huge success.
“He was a very caring, loving, fun boy. He could turn a bad situation into buckets of laughter, he had a gift of making others laugh and smile and was a force to be reckoned with when he was in full flow.
“Liam made me proud from his first breath to his last. He was my prince and I was his king.
“I could write forever how wonderful he was and he was most definitely one of a kind.
“He was my only child and the best son anyone could have. He will be missed so much.”
Liam’s sister Mai said: “I miss my brother more than words can express.
“He was the best little brother anyone could ever ask for, kind and loyal.
“Liam had the biggest heart. He would always make time for me and everyone else who needed him.
“Growing up as kids we had the best times together and the memories we shared will live on in my heart.
“Although Liam was growing up and turning into a man he was, and always will be, my baby brother.
“I will never forget his smile, his jokes and his laughter, and I am so proud of him.”
