Harlow man in court over heroin charges

A 40-year-old man from Harlow has appeared in court charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Mohammed Arfan Khan of Park Mead, Harlow was arrested after officers from Operation Raptor executed a warrant at an address in the town at 11.40am on Thursday, June 6, 2016.
Crack cocaine, heroin and cash were seized.
Khan was taken to custody and later charged with possession with intent to supply heroin, possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and possession of criminal property.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on the morning of Friday, June 10, 2016.
Khan was further remanded in court custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on July 8, 2016.
A 40-year-old woman from Harlow was also arrested following the execution of the warrant. She was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and released on bail pending further investigation until August 18, 2016.
