Communities / Sat 18th Jun 2016 at 04:34pm

DefibBACK in March the student Junior Leadership Team at Freshwaters Primary Academy held a fundraiser disco night. The funds raised were used to purchase a defibrillator. The defibrillator is on site at Freshwaters and is available to use in an emergency situation both in and around the school and wider community.

Head of School, Marios Solomonides said
“The JLT had the power to raise money for anything they wanted which would improve their learning or social experiences. I am proud of them for deciding to raise money for a defibrillator because it proves that they genuinely care about others. Some people say that children are egotistical and selfish. Not at Freshwaters!”
